Upcoming Smartphones in India to Look Forward to

The Smartphone market is reaching new heights every year in terms of design, software, and performance. And a huge surge in new and promising brands is a treat for every tech nerd out there. 2020 was a bad year for everyone, and it saw the sales dipping by a huge margin because lesser people were willing to spend on luxury.

However, the new year brings new possibilities for all of us, and the smartphone market is all set to cash-in this enthusiasm and excitement. A lot of flagship and budget phones are set to hit the market this year, and customers can expect the best value for their money. Discussed below is the list of upcoming smartphones in India to look forward to.

One Plus 9 Pro

The One Plus brand has established itself as one of the frontrunners in the mid-range premium phones. One Plus series is best known for its performance upgrades that are on par with some of the ultra-premium smartphones.

The new one plus nine pros is expected to come out in the last week of March. However,  an official announcement is yet to be made. It is expected to run on the latest Snapdragon 888 flagship, which will ensure a better clock speed than before. However, the biggest upgrade is expected in the camera array.

With smartphone brands setting new camera support standards and quality, one plus is expected to give everyone a run for the money. The new One Plus 9 pro is expected to have a massive 50-megapixel wide sensor and primary camera, a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with OIS support.

Therefore, you can expect a better portrait depth and macro lens detailing, which will be suitable for semi-professional photos and videography. Additionally, you can also expect them to provide a 45-60W of fast charging.

Oppo Find X3 Pro

Oppo is achieving new heights in the flagship zone and setting up new performance standards for itself. This smartphone is all set to run on an octa-core 888 Qualcomm Snapdragon, which is set to launch in 2021 and is a flagship processor.

The rudimentary details as of now suggest that the phone will have a 144Hz AMOLED display, which will ensure smooth scrolling and sliding through because of the super-fast refresh rate. Also, X3 Pro will support the 4K display, which will give you a television-like experience when watching 4K supported movies or videos or checking your winning lottery numbers online.

The X3 Pro is likely to have a quad-camera set up with a 108-megapixel primary camera and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Also, it is set to have a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens so that nobody is left out of the frame, and you can click pictures of a wide area with clear details.

Redmi Note 10

The much-awaited budget-friendly Note series is now out in the market with some super crazy specifications at this price point. First, let’s talk about performance, this phone runs on a mid-range Snapdragon 668, which is a bit lightweight, but it ensures a smooth run. Also, it has a 60Hz AMOLED display, which is quite rare in budget phones.

This means that you can expect a faster refresh rate at a very low battery consumption. This display also supports Ultra HD videos with no pixel disarray. Redmi has also experimented with the side panel and has equipped it with a fingerprint sensor to make the phone’s handling convenient.

It runs on a massive 5000 mAh battery, which means that it can easily last an entire day with extensive use and a single charge. It also supports wireless charging at 13W. It is set to run on MIUI 12, and Redmi has promised a free upgrade of 12.5 on Note 10. However, MIUI is a bit incompatible with the snapdragon process and doesn’t do justice to the processor’s abilities. Also, the bloatware and ads are all set to crowd your notification bar, which will cause a bit of a performance lag.

Samsung Galaxy A72

The new A72 has been released and is a mid-range budget phone. It runs on a 720G octa-core Snapdragon and is also equipped with a 90 Hz Amoled display. The phone can support Full HD+ videos with a 2400×1080 pixels resolution which means you can expect a cinematic experience.

The phone flaunts a 64-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with two-times optical zoom. The A72 also gives you an option of 4K video recording at 30 FPS and 1080p recording at 24 FPS, which hasn’t been seen before at this price point.

You will also get Adreno 618 GPU for a smooth gaming experience. You can choose from two variants of RAM storage, 6 and 8 GB, and you can extend the internal storage up to 256 GB.
